Mostly I'm just glad to be singing again - I've missed it more than I realized!ħ:00 PM - Meeting at Ponders - We will add Hello, Mary Lou this Thursday. Barbershop is a new style for me, and I'm enjoying learning its distinct elements. However, I've been choir-less for the last few years, mostly due to the pandemic and some family challenges, and recently decided it was time to get back in that groove. I sang in the Chorale or Madrigal choir until I graduated and continued to sing in similar choirs in the years to follow. My sophomore year the director of university choirs heard me sing a solo and asked me to join the University Chorale. Beyond church choirs, I didn't really sing much until college. Somewhere along the way I also picked up guitar. In 6th grade, band class was where I learned trumpet in high school this meant many halftime shows and competitions.
